There are many different bone ailments, and there are also many herbs for bones; here are some herbal remedies:

Bone bruises are terribly painful bruises; they require more work that the average bruise. Bone bruises need more liniment (or poultice) applied and more often. It is also recommended that specific liniment is used rather than a generic one. In most cases we recommend taking trauma pills with bone bruises to facilitate quicker healing.

Bone breaks or fractures - Believe it or not herbs are excellent at complimenting the healing in bone breaks and fracture healing. In fact in the West we simple set and cast bones and don't do anything else. Herbs for bones can significantly speed up the healing process of fractures, as well as are used for first-aid situations and those that aren't getting a cast. In first aid situations, make sure you treat the inflammation and take trauma pills, swelling and such are not helping in getting the bone set. Trauma Pills can continue to be taken for 3 days after the break and liniment to heal can be used as soon as the bone is set as long as there are no open wounds over the area. In some cases your injury is not in a cast for several reasons, in these situations you can continually apply liniment, poultices, and plasters to help speed healing. Also, remember to take healing herbs after the cast is removed as the muscle that protects the bone will be atrophied. We encourage getting your fracture x-rayed after 2-3 weeks to check on the healing. It is not abnormal that the use of herbal remedies in fractures leads to your cast coming off weeks before you were told by your doctor.
