Inflammation is the body's first response to trauma. Near acting receptors in your body flood the area with fluids and heat in a response to bring blood to the area to heal the area. In theory this is a great plan, but actually tends to cause a lot of problems. Your body isn't really capable of handling the amassment of fluid build up and this reaction doesn't necessarily get the end result it is looking for. The point is to get fresh blood to the area, but at the same time it is important to move the old blood and fluid out. This chaos of reactions actually causes a lot of stagnation and pain in the area of inflammation.

Inflammation can also be from chronic degeneration and such that many people find with joints and such. Long term use or misuse can breakdown protective tissues and cause re-occurring inflammation from bones rubbing or something similar.

In herbal and Chinese medicine inflammation is treated a bit differently from the norm. The typical reaction to inflammation is raise the area, apply ice, compress any bleeding and rest it. Common sense can tell you that raising the area, applying ice, resting AND compression ALL impede the circulation of blood! The point here is to basically keep anything moving that direction to basically stop, as you can see the correct treatment is actually the opposite as we want fresh blood to get to the area.

Inflammation natural remedies use herbs for inflammation that have a ‘cold' nature to them to cool the area down. At the same time these herbs also have moving properties to bring fresh blood in and old blood out. We typically avoid ice all together, but sometimes an hour to help with pain is okay. Afterward proper inflammation herbal remedies should be applied as directed to control the inflammation and heal the area quickly. We are a leader in trauma products, so feel confident that you are choosing the best inflammation natural remedies here.

The problem is everything your body throws at the area cause a stagnant area of fluids. The herbal way to treat is to NOT use Ice, but use very cooling herbs that also move blood and fluids.
For inflammation Herbal Ice is the best herbal supplement and can be use alternately with SHEN. If the inflammation was from the onset of a herniated disk, contusion, fall, etc Trauma Pills may be used as it internally moves this stagnation.
