Head-Aid is our ALL natural headache remedy. Aspirin uses synthetic compounds that are very harsh on your stomach to the point of being able to easily cause ulcers and many other side-effects. As a natural headache remedy the herbal compounds in our formula are easy on your body, but tough on headaches. Headaches are generally a 'branch' problem and not the 'root', therefore this formula only treats this symptom. You should try to also correct the root problem causing the headaches, or avoid the 'triggers' if possible. Drink plenty of water when taking the pills, a lightly caffeinated warm tea is preferable. Historically, green tea was taken with formulas such as the texts wouldn't have mentioned this if it wasn't the more effective way to get relief.

Key Herbs

White Willow Bark: White Willow Bark is originally where the chemical for aspirin came from, which was safe and effective. The side-effects of aspirin now come from the isolated chemical being synthetically made. Our whole herb extract is safe, effective, and proven for hundreds of years.

Chuan Xiong / Ligusticum: Chuan Xiong is a great herb for headaches as it has good moving actions, pain relief and directs this formula to the head!

Other Herbs: Interestingly enough the Chinese herbs in the this formula have been used for so many years that they have specific areas of the head where they work best: frontal, temporal, occipital, etc. When we combine the rest of the herbs in the formula they treat all areas with great success. Add in the White Willow Bark for proven pain relief and Chuan Xiong to direct the formula to the head and you have an excellent combination of herbs here!
