Overlooking Whats New for Prescription Diet Pills

So I was watching Requiem for a Dream last night as my wife has never seen it. I happen to own it, not sure why maybe to compliment my Jennifer Connolly collection along with Labyrinth. It got me remembering how different diet pills used to be. Over a decade ago diet pills were available by prescription only and was basically ‘speed’. Now dieting can be done at home or with your doctor with proper dieting, herbs, exercise, pills and many other things. So I decided to look at whats out there now for prescription diet pills and see how long they have come.

There are now many clinically proven weight loss pills available in market today, if you know how to find and chose the correct one for you. Basically weight loss products are either fat inhibitors or appetite suppressants. Fat inhibitors score over appetite suppressants as they work in the intestine instead of working directly in the brain. Appetite suppressants are more of an older way of losing weight and closest to the opiates used back in the day. Xenical Orlistat is one such fat inhibitor which helps  to achieve weight loss goals quickly and supposedly safely.

Xenical belongs to a group of medicines called lipase inhibitors. It works by targeting dietary fats in the body. About 30% of these fats are prevented from being absorbed and normally pass out of the body through bowel movements. Often causing floating poop! :)

Xenical weight loss pills can also help to improve risk factors like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high blood sugar. Because these problems stem from the same problem Xenical is treating. These conditions, if left untreated, can lead to serious diseases like diabetes and hypertension.

Xenical is a normal pill you can swallow the whole capsule with a glass of water. The dosages should be taken with calorie controlled diet that contains more fruits and vegetables. Notice the trend in any diet pill, they all need diets to go with them! The average calorie content from fats should be about 30 %. Be sure to incorporate a correct exercise regimen as well.

Well, if herbs and foods can’t help you can see your doctor. At least you know they aren’t just giving you prescription speed anymore!
